At this time you may have a question, who is the
person behind New Weight Lifting?

Hello, my name is Anton
Iskerskiy. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and a life-long fitness enthusiast.
It started for me with grueling
Judo sessions and field training competitions back in the old days of the Soviet
Union. Following the move to the United States, I was subjected to an intense
indoctrination process experienced by first-year recruits at the nation’s oldest
private military college. Two years later, I had an opportunity to witness the
other side of the indoctrination process as a member of cadre staff responsible
for forging a new generation of military and civil leaders. In the meantime, as
a part of the small group of equally dedicated fitness fanatics, led by a Navy EOD/Rescue
Diver, I was training for the Recon Challenge - a day long military
strength/endurance team competition.
Following the graduation and
entry into professional world, I continued expanding my knowledge in the area of
exercise science and program design, often using myself as a "lab rat" for new
exercise regimens. Over the period of time I became involved with the Russian
Kettlebells, Muay-Tai Kickboxing, grappling, and MMA.
